Recipe for Marian’s “To Die For” Kahlua Cake

1 package dark (devil’s food) cake mix

3¼ oz. package instant vanilla pudding

1 pint sour cream

12oz. package chocolate chips (semi sweet)

¼ cup oil

½ cup Kahlua

3 eggs


  1. Mix all ingredients by hand and pour into a greased and floured Bundt pan.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
  3. Cool at least 20 minutes and remove from pan.  Don’t over bake.
  4. Mix all ingredients except chocolate chips, but add that last just before it goes into the pan- to makes mixing easier.  – MarianThis Kahlua cake tastes great with a chocolate ganache topping!
